April 2009: Green Building
BRUNSWICK, MAINE, April 1, 2009 – Downeast Building Supply and Boston Cedar are teaming to present a nationally known expert on building green at Downeast’s headquarters at 18 Spring Street in Brunswick on April 6 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
The focus of John Wagner’s presentation is “Selling Green”. He will address what the green building market will look like in the next five to ten years, from both the “sell side” (dealers) and “buy side” (contractors). Wagner will sort out fact from fiction with regard to the green building products and several different green certification programs.
Wagner is an award-winning author with more than ten books on green building, construction, woodcrafts, home building, the supply chain, and corporate management.
“We are excited to have a nationally known expert here to help educate everyone on this important issue,” said Peter Bernier, vice president of Downeast Building Supply. “It is part of our mission to stay on top of trends in order to pass along our knowledge to our partners that we do business with every day.”
