January 2010: Downeast Energy & Building Supply Announces New Vice President of Regional Operations

Brunswick, Maine, January 15, 2010 - Downeast Energy & Building Supply is pleased to announce that Mark Lodge has been promoted to Vice President of Regional Operations. Lodge, who is from Alfred, has been with the company for more than 24 years and most recently was General Manager of the South Portland/Yarmouth offices for the company.

“Our industry is evolving at a rapid pace and we have made some organizational changes that will help the company stay competitive and become innovators in our business,” said John Peters, President of Downeast Energy. “Mark’s experience and knowledge will definitely help us grow as an organization. We are looking forward to this new year and new ventures for the company.”

Lodge started at Downeast Energy in November of 1986 as a salesperson in the company’s gasoline division. In 1988, he became the sales manager for the gasoline division and then moved up to General Manager of South Portland/Yarmouth locations.
