April 2010: Downeast Energy to Hold Grand Opening of their New Energy Store in Bath
BRUNSWICK, MAINE –Downeast Energy is pleased to announce that the company has opened the doors of a new energy store in downtown Bath. The storefront office is located on Front Street and will help service many existing customers in the area.
“We are excited about growing our presence in Bath with this new energy store,” said John Peters, president of Downeast Energy. “For many years we have been servicing customers in the Bath area and now will be able to do so even better. This is all a part of our efforts as a company to continue to listen to our customers’ needs and grow when it makes sense.”
The new 1000-square-foot energy store is located at 94 Front Street, next to Reny’s Department Store. This new store is a place for customers to work with energy advisors and customer service representatives in servicing any of their needs, and it offers much more. Customers will find energy efficient heating systems on display as well as other useful items available to purchase such as programmable thermostats, caulking, energy efficient light bulbs and many other items.
Designers from Downeast Kitchens helped design the modern office space with fresh, off white and the Downeast orange paint color from Benjamin Moore along with custom counter space and, for customers’ enjoyment, a flat screen television.
There will be a grand opening and open house for the public on Thursday April 29 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony with the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber and representatives from Downeast Energy will take place at 5:30. Refreshments will be served and attendees will receive a coupon to receive 10 cents off Downeast’s regular price plan prices. Offer is good up to 1000 gallons.
Hours for the Bath energy store will be Monday- Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
